Today is a very special day for me, as 4 years ago I stopped smoking and drinking. Since the 2nd of Feb 2011 I have replaced old habits with more positive and rewarding ones. Today I filled my hours with creative pursuits, giving thanks; to my Mother, to my Father and to myself & a little bit of relaxing luxury.
I put good and healthy things into my body, think positive and productive things with my mind and make things with my hands that help others and myself.

In the world we live in, I believe it is so important to buy into the right ideas to keep ourselves well, and learn how to block out the other 'white noise'. Moderate social media, put down the device, stop fiddling with whatever and tune in to our habitat, relationships and ourselves. Try not to compare, judge and summarise- rather be engaged; participate and observe; allow ourselves to learn and preconceptions to be challenged. Goof off!- it's ok to giggle when you fuck up.
It really is ok not to know about other people shniz unless they tell you in real time. Friendships last through distance, only other women want women to be thin, and a smile is the most attractive thing you will ever wear- especially when its the only thing.
Breathe, listen, smell, see..... turn to the person next to you and share.
